Located in a purpose built factory in Burton-on-Trent,Phytone is well established in the manufacture of natural colours for supply to the food industry worldwide.

The successful applicant will report to the Technical Services Manager. The jobholder will be expected to maintain the BRC and ISO9001 quality systems as well as providing a wide range of technical information and legislative advice to customers.

A logical approach, with the ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written, together with good organisational skills are essential requirements for this position. Candidates should also be computer literate and have the ability to work in a small team. This position would suit a graduate (in a food related discipline) with 1 or 2 years experience of working with the BRC and ISO standard. A longer period of experience combined with "A" levels may be considered in lieu of a degree qualification.
